It’s been a while since we have posted on the official blog of Hartman Benzon Media, but it’s finally time that we start posting more of our commercial photography work. Today, we are thrilled to present our latest project with Aumen Film co. We were brought on to capture stills for an ongoing character called “your old vacation”. This character is always creeping and spying on his old family who left him (the old vacation) for their new vacation(the great time at Camelback Resorts)
Located amidst the picturesque Pocono Mountains, Camelback Resorts is a premier destination renowned for its incomparable blend of adventure and tranquility. We were tasked with capturing the essence of this incredible oasis and highlighting its diverse offerings for guests of all ages while also capturing how out of date your old vacations are.
At Hartman Benzon Media, we attempted to bring humor to the images, all while showcasing the incredible fun that awaits at Camelback Resorts. Through our lens, we capture the infectious laughter, spontaneous moments, and genuine enjoyment of guests. Whether it's a group of friends trying their luck at the water slides or families engaging in friendly snowball fights on the slopes, we tried to make our photos capture the essence of a carefree and exhilarating experience. Hartman Benzon Media has been more than fortunate enough to work with the amazing people at Tröegs on various projects over the last couple of years. Not only do they make the most amazing beer we have ever tasted but they are some of the nicest more down to earth people that you will ever meet. Last year they started to release an amazing beast of a beer called the Nimble Giant in limited batches. The Nimble Giant is flavorful Double IPA that boasts grapefruit rind, pineapple and honeysuckle notes with a hint of earthy forest floor(as quoted by Tröegs) and they place it in amazing monster of a can. We decided to accentuate the name of the beer and used a special lens called a LAOWA 15mm lens to make the can seem larger than life and larger than its surroundings(Tröegs Brewery is actually in the background of the main chosen shot). Below are a few more options that we came up with.
Many years ago when we decided to go into business together, we always had the dream of eventually owning our own studio. We always wanted our studio to have character, style, and be one of a kind. Well everyone, we have a barn, and in this barn we built one of the largest cycloramas (aka a massive white infinity wall) in our area. Like everything we create, the barn has been a labor of love, and we can't wait to start doing video projects, creating amazing composites, and turning out some bad ass project work.
On top of that we have always had the philosophy that collaborating with other professionals is what makes us a better media company. So, if anyone is interested in renting out studio for a project in the future please don't hesitate to contact us!
Okay, so we've been here for a while...We've actually been in business for two years. We got a lot of work right off of the bat, so we were putting our marketing energy into our shooting energy bank instead. But now, folks...now is the time when we kick it into high gear, turn the volume up to 11, and start sharing all of the wonderful things that we get to do here at Hartman Benzon Media.

We are undergoing renovations and expansion at our 4000 Sq. Ft. barn/studio in Carlisle, so we'll be bringing you fun behind-the-scenes progress as we finish up our gigantic new Cyclorama Wall, and our Hair and Makeup room.

We'll also be delivering behind-the-scenes peeks from our commercial shoots (when our clients allow it), as well as finished images. We'll sometimes even show how we got an image by revealing our lighting setup, thought processes, and editing.
But for now, we'll leave you with an image of ourselves, blowing in the wind and looking like annoyed wise-men. We'll try not to post too many photos of ourselves... as we have a tendency to do that. But this will be motivation for you to click away from the blog and check out the People, Places, and Things categories on the left.
